Andersen Chapman
Andersen brings a strong foundation in construction finance, job costing, and financial systems implementation to Carlton Edwards Construction, with hands-on experience that makes him well-suited to support our commitment to excellence in custom luxury home building. His construction background includes coordinating revenue recognition and contract administration across roughly 15 concurrent projects, managing job cost tracking, billing cycles, and pay application workflows, and maintaining state and local tax compliance across multiple project jurisdictions. He also led a company-wide migration to a construction accounting platform, overseeing system configuration, data migration, and workflow buildout from the ground up.
Andersen’s background is further strengthened by his experience in audit and tax compliance, having planned and executed audits for real estate and commercial entities ranging from $100 million to $8 billion in assets, and prepared tax filings for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and LLCs. This combination of construction-specific expertise and rigorous financial discipline gives him a well-rounded, detail-oriented approach to project accounting and compliance.
Andersen holds a B.S. in Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is a pending CPA candidate in North Carolina, having completed the Uniform CPA Exam. He is also a Notary Public and a Microsoft Office Specialist in Excel.
Outside the office, Andersen plays guitar and sings in a classic rock cover band based in Little Switzerland. He’s an avid golfer, a vinyl record collector, and a lifelong Grateful Dead fan — and, true to his UT roots, a diehard Tennessee Volunteers supporter.
