Project Manager/Estimator
Chad is originally from Wisconsin but has called WNC home since 1995. He has worked in various roles in the construction industry for over 20 years. Chad started working as an Americorps volunteer carpenter at an affordable housing non-profit agency. He has many years of hands-on construction experience with vast experience in leadership roles, such as lead carpenter and project manager. Other leadership roles include being a licensed general contractor who utilizes energy and resource-efficient construction techniques. He became the first builder in Henderson County to build a Silver Level Certified Green Built Home. During that time, he also earned accreditation as an NAHB Certified Green Professional and an NCBI Certified Master Builder.
In 2016 Chad became a part of the Carlton Edwards team as a construction project manager. After taking a couple of years off to earn a second bachelor’s degree in Business IT, he is back on board as a project manager responsible for estimating and purchasing activities. His job is to use technology, construction knowledge, and experience to find the best values possible for the construction of your project.
In his spare time, Chad enjoys spending time with family, two-legged and four-legged friends, and participating in high-performance driving events at regional road course race tracks.
