Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from Auburn University. However, his passion for design and construction came naturally by watching parents and grandparents in their careers as builders, furniture makers, artists, and engineers. Creativity was encouraged at an early age through drawing and art classes, model building, and painting. A drafting set at the age of 10 seemed to seal the fate of design.
All Inclusive Design
While in architecture school a love for drawing continued and a study abroad program in France, Spain, and Italy fueled inspiration for our European influences – old and new. Secondly, an internship in the office of McAlpine -Tankersley Architecture exposed Jeff to the all-inclusive design theory supporting the harmonious relationship between architecture, interiors, and landscape. This is the passion and vision Jeff shares with our clients in the design of their bespoke projects. He still conveys and explores ideas the old fashioned way by drawing by hand.
Our clients value Jeff’s ability to translate their vision and dreams into a reality. Many times, this means wearing the hat of “editor” whose job is to sort through ideas; keeping and building upon only the strongest. At the end of the day, it is the personal relationships built over the course of a project which fuel Jeff’s day to day drive to meet and exceed our client’s expectations in design.
