Tucked into 70 acres of Tennessee countryside, Scout’s Hollow is a property being built in layers — a main residence, a Carriage House, and this 750-square-foot cabin renovated to honor its history. The original stone fireplace, barnwood floors, and chandelier were preserved as anchors. The fireplace is the room’s defining moment, its matching stone now carried to the ceiling. Dark, moody wall tones draw the eye toward double-height windows and the woods beyond.
Fifty yards above a natural stream, a screened porch extends into the tree canopy. That streambed is echoed in the pebbled stone flooring of the bathroom — details that carry the story of the cabin and the land it draws from.
