Design has always been a source of inspiration and allure for Whitney. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design at Middle Tennessee State University and a Master’s of Architecture at Savannah College of Art and Design. The opportunities of juxtaposing art and architecture at SCAD have greatly influenced Whitney’s design style as an architect. Upon graduation, she enjoyed employment at the renowned architecture firm, Cooper Carry Inc., specializing in hospitality. Being part of the design team for hotels and resorts was a wonderful experience, learning how to articulate architecture on a large scale. Whitney joined Carlton-Edwards mid-2017 seeking unique, creative design opportunities for which this firm is recognized.
